Twilights ashley greene fires back.

we ran into Twi babe Ashley Greene at the Vision Awards over the weekend, so we chatted up the sweetheart to get all of you your delish daily dose of New Moon horniness.

When we go through a lot of your comments on our message boards, the debate gets very heated when it comes to Twilight couples Rob and Kristen, and sometimes Jackson Rathbone and Ashley.

Folks seem to either love Robsten together or hate the idea of them—refusing to believe they can be anything more than costars. And that's putting it nicely. There are very nasty things said about these actors, (Kristen especially), when, in reality, hardly anyone has met these people before—so we wanted to get Ash's thoughts on all of this.

Why do you think fans either need Rob and Kristen or you and Jackson to be together, or need you to be apart?

The BET Awards last weekend were basically a three-and-a-half-hour tribute to Michael Jackson, as totally expected. But the celebration of his life kept going long after the show was over. All the award-goers drove out to Beverly Hills for the post-BET fete at Mr. Chow (sponsored by Heineken) to dish about their experiences working with or just dancing to M.J.'s tunes over the years.

Appropriately, the party only played Michael's music, since that's all anybody wanted to hear!

We spoke to Vivica A. Fox, who made a cameo in M.J.'s "Remember the Time" vid, still a classic today. "I miss his smile," was how VAF told us how she felt about the departed King of Pop, but didn't stop there:

Paris Hilton in Total Denial

Paris Hilton Greg Tidwell, PacificCoastNews.com

Does Paris Hilton have any idea who she really is? P likes to act like a li'l, pink angel in front of the cameras, but behind closed doors (which are usually eventually opened up for public consumption, either from P's phone getting hacked or her forgetting to pay rent for storage units), P.H. is anything but angelic.

She's been documented yelling racial slurs, doing drugs and doing endless duds of men, for starters. That's how the world sees her, but Princess P's got a more regal view of herself, as she proved on her guest stint on Kathy Griffin's My Life on the D-List earlier this week.

Kath preparing her crotch to shop with Pare-poo is hilarious enough, but the best part of Ms. Hilton's boob-tube cameo?

Story photo: Megan Fox dismisses comparisons to Angelina Jolie
Megan Fox dismisses comparisons between her and Angelina Jolie as the product of a lazy media.

The two actresses are both brunettes with tattoos who are known for their candor and that has been enough for some to proclaim Fox the heir apparent to Jolie's crown. Fox says the parallels are the product of a lack of media creativity, but adds, "you live with it."

The 23-year-old Fox stars with Shia (SHY'-uh) LaBeouf (lah-BUFF') in the new film "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen." She says she and the actor, who were paired in the first "Transformers" movie, enjoy a brother-sister relationship.

LeBeouf says rumors the two are dating are just that. He described himself as a "red-blooded 23-year-old," but said the connection with Fox is strictly professional.

Like Elvis, Jackson was a King who died young

Michael Jackson didn't want to be just a superstar. Like the Beatles, he wanted to be the biggest, the king. He wanted to topple the reigning man with the crown, Elvis.

In life and in death, there was Elvis.

"It's just so weird. He even married Elvis' daughter," said author-music critic Greil Marcus, who wrote at length about Presley in his acclaimed cultural history, "Mystery Train."

Elvis Presley overdosed in his bathroom on prescription drugs in 1977 at 42, his bloated, glazed middle age a cautionary tale to rock stars and other celebrities. Jackson died Thursday at 50, rushed from his Los Angeles home and pronounced dead at the UCLA Medical Center.

The death shocked more than surprised. While endless fame seemed to inflate Elvis like helium, Jackson's fame seemed to scrub the flesh and wear into his bones until you could almost see him shiver.

Like Elvis, Jackson was once beautiful, outrageous, a revolutionary without politics who shook down the walls between black and white. He had the hits, the style, the ego, the talent. He was the King of Pop and he needed only to fill in the life: He married Elvis' daughter. He bought the rights to some of Elvis' songs. Elvis owned Graceland, its name a symbol for a deliverance the singer prayed for until the end of his life. Jackson had Neverland, a fantasy for a child-man for whom money meant the chance to live in a world of his own.

He did, and did not, want to be like Elvis.

In "Moon Walk," a memoir published in 1988, Jackson insisted Elvis was not important to him growing up and that he was unhappy to learn a song he recorded with his brothers, "Heartbreak Hotel," shared the name of Presley's first national hit.

"I swear that was a phrase that came out of my head and I wasn't thinking of any other song when I wrote it," he wrote. "The record company printed it on the cover as 'This Place Hotel,' because of the Elvis Presley connection. As important as he was to music, black as well as white, he just wasn't an influence on me. I guess he was too early for me. Maybe it was timing more than anything else.

"By the time our song had come out, people thought that if I kept living in seclusion the way I was, I might die the way he did. The parallels aren't there as far as I'm concerned and I was never much for scare tactics. Still, the way Elvis destroyed himself interests me, because I don't ever want to walk those grounds myself."

Michael Jackson Die??

Story photo: Michael Jackson, 'King of Pop,' dead at 50

Michael Jackson, the "King of Pop" who once moonwalked above the music world, died Thursday as he prepared for a comeback bid to vanquish nightmare years of sexual scandal and financial calamity. He was 50.

Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center after being stricken at his rented home in Holmby Hills. Paramedics tried to resuscitate him at his home for nearly three-quarters of an hour, then rushed him to the hospital, where doctors continued to work on him.

"It is believed he suffered cardiac arrest in his home. However, the cause of his death is unknown until results of the autopsy are known," his brother Jermaine said. Police said they were investigating, standard procedure in high-profile cases.

Jackson's death brought a tragic end to a long, bizarre, sometimes farcical decline from his peak in the 1980s, when he was popular music's premier all-around performer, a uniter of black and white music who shattered the race barrier on MTV, dominated the charts and dazzled even more on stage.

His 1982 album "Thriller" which included the blockbuster hits "Beat It," "Billie Jean" and "Thriller" is the best-selling album of all time, with an estimated 50 million copies sold worldwide.

At the time of his death, Jackson was rehearsing hard for what was to be his greatest comeback: He was scheduled for an unprecedented 50 shows at a London arena, with the first set for July 13.

As word of his death spread, MTV switched its programming to play videos from Jackson's heyday. Radio stations began playing marathons of his hits. Hundreds of people gathered outside the hospital. In New York's Times Square, a low groan went up in the crowd when a screen flashed that Jackson had died, and people began relaying the news to friends by cell phone.

"No joke. King of Pop is no more. Wow," Michael Harris, 36, of New York City, read from a text message a friend had sent him. "It's like when Kennedy was assassinated. I will always remember being in Times Square when Michael Jackson died."

The public first knew him as a boy in the late 1960s, when he was the precocious, spinning lead singer of the Jackson 5, the singing group he formed with his four older brothers out of Gary, Ind. Among their No. 1 hits were "I Want You Back," "ABC" and "I'll Be There."

He was perhaps the most exciting performer of his generation, known for his backward-gliding moonwalk, his feverish, crotch-grabbing dance moves and his high-pitched singing, punctuated with squeals and titters. His single sequined glove, tight, military-style jacket and aviator sunglasses were trademarks, as was his ever-changing, surgically altered appearance.

"For Michael to be taken away from us so suddenly at such a young age, I just don't have the words," said Quincy Jones, who produced "Thriller." "He was the consummate entertainer and his contributions and legacy will be felt upon the world forever. I've lost my little brother today, and part of my soul has gone with him."

Jackson ranked alongside Elvis Presley and the Beatles as the biggest pop sensations of all time. He united two of music's biggest names when he was briefly married to Presley's daughter, Lisa Marie, and Jackson's death immediately evoked comparisons to that of Presley himself, who died at age 42 in 1977.

As years went by, Jackson became an increasingly freakish figure a middle-aged man-child weirdly out of touch with grown-up life. His skin became lighter, his nose narrower, and he spoke in a breathy, girlish voice. He often wore a germ mask while traveling, kept a pet chimpanzee named Bubbles as one of his closest companions, and surrounded himself with children at his Neverland ranch, a storybook playland filled with toys, rides and animals. The tabloids dubbed him "Wacko Jacko."

"It seemed to me that his internal essence was at war with the norms of the world. It's as if he was trying to defy gravity," said Michael Levine, a Hollywood publicist who represented Jackson in the early 1990s. He called Jackson a "disciple of P.T. Barnum" and said the star appeared fragile at the time but was "much more cunning and shrewd about the industry than anyone knew."

Jackson caused a furor in 2002 when he playfully dangled his infant son, Prince Michael II, over a hotel balcony in Berlin while a throng of fans watched from below.

In 2005, he was cleared of charges he molested a 13-year-old cancer survivor at Neverland in 2003. He had been accused of plying the boy with alcohol and groping him, and of engaging in strange and inappropriate behavior with other children.

The case followed years of rumors about Jackson and young boys. In a TV documentary, he acknowledged sharing his bed with children, a practice he described as sweet and not at all sexual.

Despite the acquittal, the lurid allegations that came out in court took a fearsome toll on his career and image, and he fell into serious financial trouble.

Michael Joseph Jackson was born Aug. 29, 1958, in Gary. He was 4 years old when he began singing with his brothers Marlon, Jermaine, Jackie and Tito in the Jackson 5. After his early success with bubblegum soul, he struck out on his own, generating innovative, explosive, unstoppable music.

The album "Thriller" alone mixed the dark, serpentine bass and drums and synthesizer approach of "Billie Jean," the grinding Eddie Van Halen solo on "Beat It," and the hiccups and falsettos on "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'."

The peak may have come in 1983, when Motown celebrated its 25th anniversary with an all-star televised concert and Jackson moonwalked off with the show, joining his brothers for a medley of old hits and then leaving them behind with a pointing, crouching, high-kicking, splay-footed, crotch-grabbing run through "Billie Jean."

The audience stood and roared. Jackson raised his fist.

By then he had cemented his place in pop culture. He got the plum Scarecrow role in the 1978 movie musical "The Wiz," a pop-R&B version of "The Wizard of Oz," that starred Diana Ross as Dorothy.

During production of a 1984 Pepsi commercial, Jackson's scalp sustains burns when an explosion sets his hair on fire.

He had strong follow-up albums with 1987's "Bad" and 1991's "Dangerous," but his career began to collapse in 1993 after he was accused of molesting a boy who often stayed at his home. The singer denied any wrongdoing, reached a settlement with the boy's family, reported to be $20 million, and criminal charges were never filed.

Jackson's expressed anger over the allegations on the 1995 album "HIStory," which sold more than 2.4 million copies, but by then, the popularity of Jackson's music was clearly waning, even as public fascination with his increasingly erratic behavior was growing.

Jackson married Lisa Marie Presley in 1994, and they divorced in 1996. Later that year, Jackson married Deborah Rowe, a former nurse for his dermatologist. They had two children together: Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., known as Prince Michael, and Paris Michael Katherine Jackson. Rowe filed for divorce in 1999.

Cardiac arrest is an abnormal heart rhythm that stops the heart from pumping blood to the body. It can occur after a heart attack or be caused by other heart problems.

Billboard magazine editorial director Bill Werde said Jackson's star power was unmatched. "The world just lost the biggest pop star in history, no matter how you cut it," Werde said. "He's literally the king of pop."

Jackson's 13 No. 1 one hits on the Billboard charts put him behind only Presley, the Beatles and Mariah Carey, Werde said.

"He was on the eve of potentially redeeming his career a little bit," he said. "People might have started to think of him again in a different light."

Official Movie Trailer of New Moon

Twilight_New_Moon_Eclipse_by_midnig.jpg twilight saga image by eclipse-twilight_lover

My kids and I are so excited to watch the Twilight Saga, New Moon. It made us more excited when we saw the Movie Trailer of New Moon. lol!!! We have to wait for about 5 more months to see this exciting movie. It's going to be shown on November 2009. I can't wait!!. Here is the official Movie Trailer of Twilight Saga, The New Moon.

Ok. Call me crazy (you wouldn’t be the first,) but I may be the first person out here that has read the entire Twilight saga (movie too) and relates to it on a level much deeper than anything Stephenie Meyer could have imagined. I’m a sucker for pop culture and had to read the books the moment I heard of their popularity. Also, as a mother to two girls, I try to stay abreast of all things “now.” Mama likes to know what the kids are into these days. Which is more than I could say for my own parents 3o years ago. But that’s a different post.

Here we go: Twilight’s Cullen family vampires symbolize the inner struggle and social outcasting of the alcoholic.

Whaaaaa????

That’s right. In the Twilight saga, the Cullen family is a centuries old clan of vampires living and working within the tiny town of Forks, Washington; the cloudiest, rainiest region in the continental U.S. thereby allowing them to move about during the daytime without being exposed for what they really are. These particular vampires don’t perish in the sun, their skin simply glitters as if diamonds are impended in their skin.

But the Cullens don’t drink alcohol human blood. They feel a moral and ethical obligation to their human neighbors and choose to abstain from drinking human blood. Instead they exist solely on the blood of animals.

But occasionally they do relapse. Not within the 21st century, but years ago when members of the clan were much younger and new to this way of life, the occasional slip occurred and human blood was consumed. It is no surprise that the strongest resolve within this family lies within the oldtimer vampire, Carlisle, a three hundred year old doctor and patriarch of the Cullen family. Every group of recovering vampires needs an oldtimer to help sponsor the newcomers into this way of life. Carlisle’s length of sobriety and serenity is due to his level of compassion for his fellow man. For Carlisle, self seeking and self centeredness has disappeared. He is all but immune to the allure of human blood.

It is a daily struggle for the younger members of this family to abstain from alcohol human blood and it is only through being in a fit moral and physical condition that they find that they have the strength to maintain their sobriety way of life.

Other non-sober vampires think the Cullens are crazy for choosing this way of life.

Human blood is the best!

Human blood feels good!

Human blood gets us into a frenzy!

Tastes great! Less filling!

But the Cullens maintain that killing humans is wrong and that there is an easier, softer way. The family finds that it is much easier to maintain their way of life by sticking close together and watching out for one another (read: fellowship and sponsorship.) They maintain a singleness of purpose and are always mindful of where their triggers might lie. The scent of human blood is always around and in order to avoid drinking, they must watch that they don’t get too Hungry, Angry, Lonely, or Tired. Weakness within anyone of them is a most certain set-up for relapse. And once there is a relapse, the chances of them putting an end to their human feeding frenzy are diminished. Abstinence is the only true means to peace of mind.

While the relationship of Bella (human) to Edward (vampire) could be considered a hybrid of classic Al-Anon and enticing Mai Tai, her transformation into immortality in the fourth book complicates my analogy. I will leave it at that.

Julia Roberts Letterman's Hugh Grant?

Sarah Palin would no doubt be horrified by the idea, but there's a chance she could become the same boon to David Letterman's career that Hugh Grant was to Jay Leno's.

In this photo released by CBS, actress Julia Roberts laughs ...

Grant's 1995 appearance on NBC's "Tonight" show after a prostitution arrest, where Leno famously asked "what were you thinking?," was seen in retrospect as a turning point in the late-night race. It drew a huge audience and propelled Leno to the top of the ratings, a spot he would not relinquish.

Letterman did not court last week's battle with Palin, who called him "perverted" for making a joke about her daughter getting "knocked up" by New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez, and he said in retrospect the remark was in poor taste.

Palin rebuffed his invitations to appear on the show, but that might not matter. The story had the effect of turning the attention to Letterman at a critical time, during the second week of his new competition with Leno's replacement, Conan O'Brien.

"It will be interesting to see if that can be maintained or whether it is one of those temporary things," said Robert Thompson, director of the Center for the Study of Popular Television at Syracuse University.

The final numbers won't be out until later in the week, but there's a strong chance that Letterman could average more viewers than the "Tonight" show in the second week of O'Brien's new 11:35 p.m. job. That hasn't happened since 2005, and the timing is significant: some of Leno's old fans may be more amenable to searching for a new late-night habit during the transition period.

It's difficult to tell whether Letterman received a boost this week because of people interested in what he was going to say about Palin. Strong guests like Julia Roberts and Denzel Washington were a boost, too.

Letterman has referenced the NBC transition in a handful of jokes over the past two weeks, many of them poking fun of himself as much as his rival.

"Conan O'Brien, of course, is the new host of the `Tonight' show,'" Letterman said a week ago. "Did they even look at my audition tape?"

On a top 10 list of Signs it's Time for Kim Jong-Il to retire, was No. 2: "Republic already named his successor, Conan Jong-Il. Topping the list of Surprising Facts about Sonia Sotomayor was: "Demonstrated impeccable judgment by watching Conan."

Despite the competition, no doubt it's hard for Letterman to exhibit the same animosity toward O'Brien as he did toward Leno. O'Brien has openly acknowledged his debt to Letterman, and his subversive anti-talk show style is more reminiscent of what Letterman did in the 1980s than what Letterman is doing today.

Letterman maintains his biting sarcasm, but at age 62 he has evolved into more of a traditional talk show host than his rivals. Thompson said he believes Letterman is more topical than ever, in part a recognition of Jon Stewart's success at Comedy Central. The Letterman of two decades ago attracted attention for dropping watermelons from the roof of a building or wearing a Velcro suit; now he gets it for charged interviews with John McCain or Joaquin Phoenix.

When Letterman did a brief filmed skit last week tied to Washington's new movie, "The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3" it seemed like a quaint throwback; O'Brien does such pre-filmed segments all the time.

"David Letterman's biggest problem is he was brilliant in going against the grain," he said. "David Letterman is now the grain. He's his own toughest act to follow. So that's why it is smart that he has tried to change the game."

From left, actress Kristin Chenoweth, singer Harry Connick Jr. ...

Letterman, who went through a life-changing heart surgery and became a father in the past decade, seems committed to the new competition. It was revealed this week that he had agreed to a contract extension that will keep him on the "Late Show" into 2012, and there's no indication that he's looking toward retirement.

His longevity, however, may be his biggest handicap in getting back to the top.

"By and large, late-night comedy is a young wise-guy's business," Thompson said.

The fans who thought he was fabulously hip in the 1980s now have their own teen-agers looking to make their own late-night TV habits. Letterman has a love-him-or-hate him personality, and a transition by one of his competitors isn't likely to change the minds of viewers who made them up years ago. He jokes about all politicians but it's becoming clearer where his sympathies lie — something that Palin and her supporters sensed in their criticisms. NBC has touted O'Brien's show as the fun place to be in late-night, particularly for younger viewers, with the implication that Letterman is a cranky old man.

It would be foolish to count him out.

Palin may have inadvertently given Letterman a platform at a time when it is most valuable; the next few weeks will show how he's been able to use it.

UP The Movie is Hilarious

I went with my kids to watch the movie "UP". It was an animated comedy movie. It was pretty hilarious and full of fantasy adventure. Recommended for kids. However there are some scenes that might not be suitable for children since there are some slight violence.

A fantasy movie about an old man who used thousands of balloon to his home, 78-year-old Carl Fredricksen, to fulfill his dream to see the wilds of South America. Along his journey he realized that he was not alone on his journey, because Russell, a young wilderness explorer has inadvertently become a stowaway on the trip. Watch it if you need to laugh

Angelina For Jenny and Brad

Posted: 04 Jun 2009 12:38 PM PDT

It's hard to believe that Jenny and Brad will be back. I guess it was just a friendly text messages. After all the hard feelings that has happen. All those broken promises and dreams that they made has broken down into pieces of tears, by one gorgeous woman in the person of Angelina. Will they be back to each other's arms?

But what goes around will come around. Men are born polygamous by nature but then, I have read in one magazine that it was Angelina who made the cheating first. This issue was revealed by Angelina's personal driver.

Ahhh, things are complicated. There is really no perfect relationship. And being a celebrity makes it even more complicated. Every move and decisions that you make, will be seen and heard by the world. I wish them all the best.
