Hard Knocks Jets Episode 3 looked the same as last week. The Hard Knocks Jets Episode 3 hour had no Darrelle Revis updates, although Hard Knocks Jets Episode 3 rumors briefly suggested a return. For a little while this
week, fans had hope that Revis would end his holdout soon, and even become part of the show again. But those hopes were quickly dashed, as the two sides appear to still be far apart. Therefore, the Hard Knocks Jets Episode 3 storylines were Revis-free, as the on-camera Revis blackout continues.
The main mention of Revis came during a team magic show, as both Rex Ryan and linebreaker Bart Scott hinted that his arrival would be a great trick. Yet despite some promising rumors this week, Revis's immediate arrival appears to be closer to fantasy than reality.
As such, Hard Knocks Jets Episode 3 continued the new rule of not devoting much time to the Revis crisis. Ryan and the rest of the team are still determined to move on, as they have other problems to worry about right now.
Since last week's show recapped the Jets' poor exhibition opener against the Giants, Hard Knocks Jets Episode 3 had Ryan determined to make things better. His efforts to improve the first, second and third string defense worked, as New York went to Carolina and got a 9-3 win on Saturday. HBO cameras once again captured Ryan's various mood swings on the sidelines.
Special teams also got a special focus, as coordinator Mike Westhoff showed off his own verbal frustration. In addition, more players were seen getting cut, and the team held their magic show for rookies - after knocking the magician's fee down $1,000. Of course, that doesn't work in every contract negotiation.
After Hard Knocks Jets Episode 3, there are now two weeks left in the HBO miniseries. It remains the most talked about edition of the series, both with what is caught on camera and what isn't caught. Revis is still the biggest subplot, even when he isn't mentioned, while Ryan still struggles to make his language appropriate for his mother and Tony Dungy.
