Me and my family watched "Prince Of Persia, Sand of Time 2010" last week. My laziness stopped me from sharing my experience from the movie on this blog.

It's about a young fugitive prince and princess must stop a villain who unknowingly threatens to destroy the world with a special dagger that enables the magic sand inside to reverse time.

Me and my family love it specially that they have played the PS3 game. They are interesting to see the movie version and I am glad that the movie turned out to have more intersting story ans scenes to watch. I also like the special effects which makes the movie more intersting.

So if you are adventurous type of movie watcher, then Prince of Persia is for you.

Springsteen, Pinsky team up at NJ festival

Robert Pinsky and Bruce Springsteen apparently have more in common than just a way with words — they can trace the beginnings of their glory days all the way back to the same hospital at the New Jersey shore.

The former U.S. poet laureate and the unofficial poet laureate of rock 'n' roll appeared on stage Thursday at Fairleigh Dickinson University, where they discussed their work, influences and careers and joked about the fact both were born at Monmouth Memorial Hospital, albeit nine years apart (Pinsky is older).

The occasion was the university's WAMFEST Words and Music Festival, an event sponsored by its creative writing department. Recording artist John Wesley Harding, nee Wesley Stace, an artist in residence at the school, moderated the two-hour performance and discussion in front of a packed auditorium of 400 students, faculty and whoever else could wangle a way in the door.

Springsteen and Pinsky had met for the first time on Thursday, Harding said, but their affinity for each other's work was obvious.

"What I've been trying to write about for 40 years, Robert gets into a single poem," Springsteen said.

Both spoke fondly of their home state, though in different ways. Pinsky, who grew up in "not the greatest part of Long Branch" and now lives in western Massachusetts, realized after he moved to California that he missed the Garden State's speech patterns and sarcasm; Springsteen dreamed of getting out of New Jersey as a youth but later came to find meaning in "a certain plot of ground, a certain place" after his work became more introspective.

Springsteen recalled being influenced by, of all people, Frank Sinatra for the way his songs resonated with everyday people.

"He sang colloquially, the way people speak," he said. "The minute the needle goes down on the record, a world is summoned up. I wanted to catalog my times in that way."

The two men, joined at times by Harding, performed their works separately and together. Pinsky's poem "Shirt" segued into Springsteen's "The River," and Springsteen read Pinsky's "Samurai Song" as a prelude to his own "Darkness on the Edge of Town," played on 12-string guitar.

Springsteen also performed "Promised Land," "Nebraska" and "Born to Run," and he joked that "you have to be careful if you're a songwriter reading poetry, because the temptation to steal is ever present."

Both spoke about how their art has evolved as they've grown older, and Pinsky said while self-doubt never completely disappears the experience of living provides a constant source of material.

"All the main issues of making art remain the same," he said. "Fortunately there are always new things to think about."

I purchased a DVD of Panday the movie starring Bong Revilla. Well I find it so boring that I didn't bother to finish it. It's just a waste of time. It's the same Old Panday the movie. Theonly difference is that, the special effects have imporve a lot compare to the old version of the movie about 10 to 20 years ago.

However, I heard that this hits the theater in the Phillipines as one of the box office movie. But in fairness, their special effect really improved but nothing to compare with the special effects of foreign movies particularly to America Movies. Filipino movies special effects still needs a lot of improvement.

Me and my kids watch this movie, "Remember Me" starring their favorite young actor Robert Patisson, who plays Tyler, a rebellious young man in New York City who has a strained relationship with his father ever since tragedy separated their family. He thought that nonone will understand what he was going through until he met Ally (Emilie de Ravin) through an unusual twist of fate.

He never thought he could fall inlove but her spirit heals and inspires him. and he find happiness and meaning in his life. But secrets were revealed that tear them apart.

The story for me is quite shallow and boring. I guess young people will like it and would be interested to watch it, simply because for their love to watch Robet Patisson.

Alice in Wonderland 2010 is just like any other fantasy adventure movie of Alice In Wonderland that I have watched. But this Alice In Wonderland for year 2010, Alice is now 19 years old who accidentally. Alice is the only one who can kill the Jabberwocky, a dragon controlled by the Red Queen.

Directed by Tim Burton, written by Linda Woolverton, and stars Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Crispin Glover, Michael Sheen and Stephen Fry. It is an extension of the Lewis Carroll novels Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. The film uses a technique of combining live action and animation.

his is probably one of the most disappointing movies I have seen in a few years. Alice in Wonderland should have been something up Tim Burton's alley, and instead he turned it into something it wasn't. He should have taken over the screenplay from Linda Woolverton (whoever that is) and created darker, more dimensional characters; instead, what we get is Tim Burton for kids. I would have preferred his take on Lewis Carroll's novel rather than a rehash of every Hollywood fantasy film. I thought the younger Alice in the film looked the part of the original illustrations and would have been perfect for the role. Depp ruined the Mad Hatter with his accent and incoherent speech, Burton ruined the Mad Hatter with his ugly costume design. I was disappointed to not hear Hatter shout "Change places!" I understand he is saddened by resent events, but even a mumbled, sad, "Change places" would have been nice to hear and keep his character intact through a simple and effective effort.

The charm behind Carroll's novel is that there really isn't much of a story, but rather a series of random and always bizarre events that are colorful and imaginative. You start to gain the sense that Alice really is in a peculiar land and at times you even often pity her. With her return to Wonderland the life behind everything the novel created almost evaporated. I say almost because the Cheshire Cat steals the show and truly did save the the film. Regardless, I would have much preferred a stop-motion attempt (The Nightmare Before Christmas) from Tim Burton rather than the use of actors and actresses to portray Carroll's characters. What we're left with because of this is unnecessary, though beautiful, CGI and a lot of it. At the very least the mood atmosphere of Edward Scissorhands would have been a delightful treat

The Box is the most beautiful movie and worth the time watching that I have seen this year. Full of messages from God about the 6th Of Ten Commandments "You shall not murder".

The film is written and directed by Richard Kelly and stars Cameron Diaz and James Marsden. A couple who are in financial trouble, receive a box from a mysterious man. He offer them one million dollars if they press the button sealed within the dome on top of the box but someone whom they don't know will die after.

At the end of the movie, receiving one million dollars made their only Son to be blind and deaf for the rest of his life. The only things that can put their son's senses back into normal is for the husband to shoot his wife to the heart by a gun. Another murder that the couple comited

Killing or murdering can be in any way. You can do it yourself or ask someone to do it or letting someone to do it. For one million dollar, will let someone die? Is that how God want's us to live?

God always give us choices in life. But knowing and putting his words in our heart, will guide us in doing the right thing. All our actions have good and bad things in return. All the things that are happening in our life are the results of all our actions and decisions in life. Byt pressing the button they let someone die or in short, they killed someone, somewhere, somehow. If they have the word of God in their Heart, there will be no other choice but NOT TO KILL SOMEONE and the worst is... They let someone die for MONEY which is the root of all evil!!!

Songyos Sugmakanan came under a lot of criticism for his casting of Japan's former adult-video star Sora Aoi in his romantic comedy Hormones.

But it was the Aoi's jaw-dropping scenes, involving her bikini-clad Japanese tourist character bringing a young porn-obsessed Thai guy to the brink of being unfaithful to his girlfriend that won Hormones the Jury's Special Prize at the fourth Asian Marine Film Festival in Makuhari, Japan.

The small festival focuses on Asian movies that deal with the ocean as one of the key elements. Songyos and a couple of the young stars of Hormones were in Chiba Prefecture to collect the award, Daily Xpress reported yesterday in its print edition.

In the GMM Tai Hub ensemble romance, a guy Hern (Chantawit Thanasevee) meets a female Japanese tourist (Aoi) on a train to southern Thailand. Hern is supposed to go meet his longtime college sweetheart Nual in Trang, but instead gets off the train and joins Aoi for the Full Moon Party and plenty of fun at the beach on Koh Pha-ngan.

Aoi's casting was the start of a string of Japanese actresses appearing in Thai films this year, The Sunday Nation pointed out in an article this week.

Aside from Aoi in Hormones, there's actress-DJ Aki Shibuya in The Coffin, playing the coma-prone girlfriend of Ananda Everingham's character. Coffin director Ekachai Uekrongtham says there was some "shocking" footage of Shibuya and Ananda that didn't make it into the film's final cut.

In Yuthlert Sippapak's upcoming comedy, E Tim Tay Nae, swimsuit model Asuka plays the love interest for Udom "Nose" Taepanich's character.

But because of Aoi's notoriety as an AV star, Songyos came under the gun for casting her in a romance aimed at teens, making his producers at GMM Tai Hub wary. Aoi was left off the promotional posters, though she is in the trailer and was invited to make promotional appearances around Thailand for the film. Songyos said Aoi was perfectly cast. I am really sad watching some part of Michael Jackson's Funeral. It's really true about the sayings "You'll never know how important someone is, until he is gone". For such a long time, I lost my admirations to Michael Jackson because of so much weirdness about him, most specially his physical appearance. Michael Jackson didn't want to be just a superstar. Like the Beatles, he wanted to be the biggest, the king. He wanted to topple the reigning man with the crown, Elvis.

In life and in death, there was Elvis.

"It's just so weird. He even married Elvis' daughter," said author-music critic Greil Marcus, who wrote at length about Presley in his acclaimed cultural history, "Mystery Train."

Elvis Presley overdosed in his bathroom on prescription drugs in 1977 at 42, his bloated, glazed middle age a cautionary tale to rock stars and other celebrities. Jackson died Thursday at 50, rushed from his Los Angeles home and pronounced dead at the UCLA Medical Center.

The death shocked more than surprised. While endless fame seemed to inflate Elvis like helium, Jackson's fame seemed to scrub the flesh and wear into his bones until you could almost see him shiver.

"By the time our song had come out, people thought that if I kept living in seclusion the way I was, I might die the way he did. Michael Jackson, the "King of Pop" who once moonwalked above the music world, died Thursday as he prepared for a comeback bid to vanquish nightmare years of sexual scandal and financial calamity. He was 50.

Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center after being stricken at his rented home in Holmby Hills. Paramedics tried to resuscitate him at his home for nearly three-quarters of an hour, then rushed him to the hospital, where doctors continued to work on him.

"It is believed he suffered cardiac arrest in his home. However, the cause of his death is unknown until results of the autopsy are known," his brother Jermaine said. Police said they were investigating, standard procedure in high-profile cases.

Jackson's death brought a tragic end to a long, bizarre, sometimes farcical decline from his peak in the 1980s, when he was popular music's premier all-around performer, a uniter of black and white music who shattered the race barrier on MTV, dominated the charts and dazzled even more on stage.

His 1982 album "Thriller" which included the blockbuster hits "Beat It," "Billie Jean" and "Thriller" is the best-selling album of all time, with an estimated 50 million copies sold worldwide.

At the time of his death, Jackson was rehearsing hard for what was to be his greatest comeback: He was scheduled for an unprecedented 50 shows at a London arena, with the first set for July 13.

As word of his death spread, MTV switched its programming to play videos from Jackson's heyday. Radio stations began playing marathons of his hits. Hundreds of people gathered outside the hospital. In New York's Times Square, a low groan went up in the crowd when a screen flashed that Jackson had died, and people began relaying the news to friends by cell phone.

"No joke. King of Pop is no more. Wow," Michael Harris, 36, of New York City, read from a text message a friend had sent him. "It's like when Kennedy was assassinated. I will always remember being in Times Square when Michael Jackson died."

The public first knew him as a boy in the late 1960s, when he was the precocious, spinning lead singer of the Jackson 5, the singing group he formed with his four older brothers out of Gary, Ind. Among their No. 1 hits were "I Want You Back," "ABC" and "I'll Be There."

He was perhaps the most exciting performer of his generation, known for his backward-gliding moonwalk, his feverish, crotch-grabbing dance moves and his high-pitched singing, punctuated with squeals and titters. His single sequined glove, tight, military-style jacket and aviator sunglasses were trademarks, as was his ever-changing, surgically altered appearance.

"For Michael to be taken away from us so suddenly at such a young age, I just don't have the words," said Quincy Jones, who produced "Thriller." "He was the consummate entertainer and his contributions and legacy will be felt upon the world forever. I've lost my little brother today, and part of my soul has gone with him."

Jackson ranked alongside Elvis Presley and the Beatles as the biggest pop sensations of all time. He united two of music's biggest names when he was briefly married to Presley's daughter, Lisa Marie, and Jackson's death immediately evoked comparisons to that of Presley himself, who died at age 42 in 1977.

As years went by, Jackson became an increasingly freakish figure a middle-aged man-child weirdly out of touch with grown-up life. His skin became lighter, his nose narrower, and he spoke in a breathy, girlish voice. He often wore a germ mask while traveling, kept a pet chimpanzee named Bubbles as one of his closest companions, and surrounded himself with children at his Neverland ranch, a storybook playland filled with toys, rides and animals. The tabloids dubbed him "Wacko Jacko."

"It seemed to me that his internal essence was at war with the norms of the world. It's as if he was trying to defy gravity," said Michael Levine, a Hollywood publicist who represented Jackson in the early 1990s. He called Jackson a "disciple of P.T. Barnum" and said the star appeared fragile at the time but was "much more cunning and shrewd about the industry than anyone knew."

Jackson caused a furor in 2002 when he playfully dangled his infant son, Prince Michael II, over a hotel balcony in Berlin while a throng of fans watched from below.

In 2005, he was cleared of charges he molested a 13-year-old cancer survivor at Neverland in 2003. He had been accused of plying the boy with alcohol and groping him, and of engaging in strange and inappropriate behavior with other children.

The case followed years of rumors about Jackson and young boys. In a TV documentary, he acknowledged sharing his bed with children, a practice he described as sweet and not at all sexual.

Despite the acquittal, the lurid allegations that came out in court took a fearsome toll on his career and image, and he fell into serious financial trouble.

Michael Joseph Jackson was born Aug. 29, 1958, in Gary. He was 4 years old when he began singing with his brothers Marlon, Jermaine, Jackie and Tito in the Jackson 5. After his early success with bubblegum soul, he struck out on his own, generating innovative, explosive, unstoppable music.

The album "Thriller" alone mixed the dark, serpentine bass and drums and synthesizer approach of "Billie Jean," the grinding Eddie Van Halen solo on "Beat It," and the hiccups and falsettos on "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'."

The peak may have come in 1983, when Motown celebrated its 25th anniversary with an all-star televised concert and Jackson moonwalked off with the show, joining his brothers for a medley of old hits and then leaving them behind with a pointing, crouching, high-kicking, splay-footed, crotch-grabbing run through "Billie Jean."

The audience stood and roared. Jackson raised his fist.

By then he had cemented his place in pop culture. He got the plum Scarecrow role in the 1978 movie musical "The Wiz," a pop-R&B version of "The Wizard of Oz," that starred Diana Ross as Dorothy.

During production of a 1984 Pepsi commercial, Jackson's scalp sustains burns when an explosion sets his hair on fire.

He had strong follow-up albums with 1987's "Bad" and 1991's "Dangerous," but his career began to collapse in 1993 after he was accused of molesting a boy who often stayed at his home. The singer denied any wrongdoing, reached a settlement with the boy's family, reported to be $20 million, and criminal charges were never filed.

Jackson's expressed anger over the allegations on the 1995 album "HIStory," which sold more than 2.4 million copies, but by then, the popularity of Jackson's music was clearly waning, even as public fascination with his increasingly erratic behavior was growing.

Jackson married Lisa Marie Presley in 1994, and they divorced in 1996. Later that year, Jackson married Deborah Rowe, a former nurse for his dermatologist. They had two children together: Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., known as Prince Michael, and Paris Michael Katherine Jackson. Rowe filed for divorce in 1999.

Cardiac arrest is an abnormal heart rhythm that stops the heart from pumping blood to the body. It can occur after a heart attack or be caused by other heart problems.

Billboard magazine editorial director Bill Werde said Jackson's star power was unmatched. "The world just lost the biggest pop star in history, no matter how you cut it," Werde said. "He's literally the king of pop."

Jackson's 13 No. 1 one hits on the Billboard charts put him behind only Presley, the Beatles and Mariah Carey, Werde said.

"He was on the eve of potentially redeeming his career a little bit," he said. "People might have started to think of him again in a different light."

Ok. Call me crazy (you wouldn’t be the first,) but I may be the first person out here that has read the entire Twilight saga (movie too) and relates to it on a level much deeper than anything Stephenie Meyer could have imagined. I’m a sucker for pop culture and had to read the books the moment I heard of their popularity. Also, as a mother to two girls, I try to stay abreast of all things “now.” Mama likes to know what the kids are into these days. Which is more than I could say for my own parents 3o years ago. But that’s a different post.

Here we go: Twilight’s Cullen family vampires symbolize the inner struggle and social outcasting of the alcoholic.

That’s right. In the Twilight saga, the Cullen family is a centuries old clan of vampires living and working within the tiny town of Forks, Washington; the cloudiest, rainiest region in the continental U.S. thereby allowing them to move about during the daytime without being exposed for what they really are. These particular vampires don’t perish in the sun, their skin simply glitters as if diamonds are impended in their skin.

But the Cullens don’t drink alcohol human blood. They feel a moral and ethical obligation to their human neighbors and choose to abstain from drinking human blood. Instead they exist solely on the blood of animals.

But occasionally they do relapse. Not within the 21st century, but years ago when members of the clan were much younger and new to this way of life, the occasional slip occurred and human blood was consumed. It is no surprise that the strongest resolve within this family lies within the oldtimer vampire, Carlisle, a three hundred year old doctor and patriarch of the Cullen family. Every group of recovering vampires needs an oldtimer to help sponsor the newcomers into this way of life. Carlisle’s length of sobriety and serenity is due to his level of compassion for his fellow man. For Carlisle, self seeking and self centeredness has disappeared. He is all but immune to the allure of human blood.

It is a daily struggle for the younger members of this family to abstain from alcohol human blood and it is only through being in a fit moral and physical condition that they find that they have the strength to maintain their sobriety way of life.

Other non-sober vampires think the Cullens are crazy for choosing this way of life.

But the Cullens maintain that killing humans is wrong and that there is an easier, softer way. The family finds that it is much easier to maintain their way of life by sticking close together and watching out for one another (read: fellowship and sponsorship.) They maintain a singleness of purpose and are always mindful of where their triggers might lie. The scent of human blood is always around and in order to avoid drinking, they must watch that they don’t get too Hungry, Angry, Lonely, or Tired. Weakness within anyone of them is a most certain set-up for relapse. And once there is a relapse, the chances of them putting an end to their human feeding frenzy are diminished. Abstinence is the only true means to peace of mind.

Sarah Palin would no doubt be horrified by the idea, but there's a chance she could become the same boon to David Letterman's career that Hugh Grant was to Jay Leno's.

Grant's 1995 appearance on NBC's "Tonight" show after a prostitution arrest, where Leno famously asked "what were you thinking?," was seen in retrospect as a turning point in the late-night race. It drew a huge audience and propelled Leno to the top of the ratings, a spot he would not relinquish.

Letterman did not court last week's battle with Palin, who called him "perverted" for making a joke about her daughter getting "knocked up" by New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez, and he said in retrospect the remark was in poor taste.

Palin rebuffed his invitations to appear on the show, but that might not matter. The story had the effect of turning the attention to Letterman at a critical time, during the second week of his new competition with Leno's replacement, Conan O'Brien.

"It will be interesting to see if that can be maintained or whether it is one of those temporary things," said Robert Thompson, director of the Center for the Study of Popular Television at Syracuse University.

The final numbers won't be out until later in the week, but there's a strong chance that Letterman could average more viewers than the "Tonight" show in the second week of O'Brien's new 11:35 p.m. job. That hasn't happened since 2005, and the timing is significant: some of Leno's old fans may be more amenable to searching for a new late-night habit during the transition period.

It's difficult to tell whether Letterman received a boost this week because of people interested in what he was going to say about Palin. Strong guests like Julia Roberts and Denzel Washington were a boost, too.

Letterman has referenced the NBC transition in a handful of jokes over the past two weeks, many of them poking fun of himself as much as his rival.

"Conan O'Brien, of course, is the new host of the `Tonight' show,'" Letterman said a week ago. "Did they even look at my audition tape?"

On a top 10 list of Signs it's Time for Kim Jong-Il to retire, was No. 2: "Republic already named his successor, Conan Jong-Il. Topping the list of Surprising Facts about Sonia Sotomayor was: "Demonstrated impeccable judgment by watching Conan."

Despite the competition, no doubt it's hard for Letterman to exhibit the same animosity toward O'Brien as he did toward Leno. O'Brien has openly acknowledged his debt to Letterman, and his subversive anti-talk show style is more reminiscent of what Letterman did in the 1980s than what Letterman is doing today.

Letterman maintains his biting sarcasm, but at age 62 he has evolved into more of a traditional talk show host than his rivals. Thompson said he believes Letterman is more topical than ever, in part a recognition of Jon Stewart's success at Comedy Central. The Letterman of two decades ago attracted attention for dropping watermelons from the roof of a building or wearing a Velcro suit; now he gets it for charged interviews with John McCain or Joaquin Phoenix.

When Letterman did a brief filmed skit last week tied to Washington's new movie, "The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3" it seemed like a quaint throwback; O'Brien does such pre-filmed segments all the time.

"David Letterman's biggest problem is he was brilliant in going against the grain," he said. "David Letterman is now the grain. He's his own toughest act to follow. So that's why it is smart that he has tried to change the game."

Letterman, who went through a life-changing heart surgery and became a father in the past decade, seems committed to the new competition. It was revealed this week that he had agreed to a contract extension that will keep him on the "Late Show" into 2012, and there's no indication that he's looking toward retirement.

His longevity, however, may be his biggest handicap in getting back to the top.

"By and large, late-night comedy is a young wise-guy's business," Thompson said.

The fans who thought he was fabulously hip in the 1980s now have their own teen-agers looking to make their own late-night TV habits. Letterman has a love-him-or-hate him personality, and a transition by one of his competitors isn't likely to change the minds of viewers who made them up years ago. He jokes about all politicians but it's becoming clearer where his sympathies lie — something that Palin and her supporters sensed in their criticisms. NBC has touted O'Brien's show as the fun place to be in late-night, particularly for younger viewers, with the implication that Letterman is a cranky old man.

It would be foolish to count him out.

Palin may have inadvertently given Letterman a platform at a time when it is most valuable; the next few weeks will show how he's been able to use it.

David Letterman swapped vows with longtime love Regina Lasko Thursday afternoon in a no-frills courthouse ceremony. The newlyweds are parents of a 5-year-old son, Harry.

The 61-year-old Late Show host is planning to announce the big news on tonight's episode, where congratulations will be in order from guests Hugh Laurie and Sarah Paulson.

"On Thursday, at 3 p.m., March 19, 2009, at the Teton County Courthouse in Choteau, Montana, I was married to Regina Lasko," Letterman will say, according to CBS.

"Regina and I began dating in February of 1986, and I said, 'Well, things are going pretty good, let's just see what happens in about 10 years.' I had avoided getting married pretty good for, like, 23 years, and I—honestly, whether this happened or not—I secretly felt that men who were married admired me…like I was the last of the real gunslingers, you know what I'm saying?"

Yup, that sounds about right for the guy who tended to pull the tightening-of-the-collar look whenever one of his guests asked about future plans to tie the knot.

This is the second marriage for Letterman, who spent nine years with Michelle Cook before divorcing in 1978.

Not that round two went off without a hitch—in fact, Mother Nature almost didn't let it happen.

When Letterman, Lasko and Harry set off for the courthouse Thursday, they ended up getting stuck in the mud.

"So now we think, 'Well, somebody'll come—no, nobody comes along," Letterman says. "Nobody comes along—it's Thursday afternoon, who's coming along, Zorro?"

"So I get out of the truck and I walk two miles back to the house into a 50-mile-an-hour wind. It's not Beverly Hills, it's Montana, for God's sakes. And the whole way, I'm thinking, 'See, smart ass, see, see, you try to get married, this is what happens. See, well, you've got nobody to blame but yourself. Could have happened any other day, but you wait now, see, this is what you get.'"

Madison said Monday she was dreading the dance off.

Viewer votes are also what kept Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and his partner, Karina Smirnoff, on the show. The couple earned only 10 points in Monday's competition — the lowest score in six seasons, but were saved from the dance off by their fans.

"I am having a blast," Wozniak said after Monday's performance. "When I got up there on the stage and was just about to start dancing, I thought, I'm the luckiest person in the world.

And Wozniak's fans seem to think they're lucky to be watching him.

Los Angeles (E! Online) – After inexplicably biting the hand that was offering to feed her babies, Nadya Suleman found herself in a familiar place—talking to Dr. Phil.

Addressing the TV doc and his guests, attorney Gloria Allred and Linda West Conforti and Jackie Peebles from Angels in Waiting USA, for a Dr. Phil segment scheduled to air Wednesday and Thursday, Suleman tried to explain why she fired the nurses that Angels had secured to care for her 14 children.

"The primary issue was that myself and my nannies felt extremely uncomfortable," Suleman told Dr. Phil by phone. "I personally felt like a stranger in my own home. The goal was to empower me as a mother, help me, train me. I'm open to that, I want that, I want to do the very best for these...premature babies.

"I wanted [Angels] to use their training and knowledge to help guide me. I felt that was never accomplished. I felt as though every time I tried to hold the babies, feed the babies, they would be observing and they were waiting for me to make a mistake."

Anyway, Allred, who along with Dr. Phil helped get Angels in Waiting onboard, doesn't believe it all went down just how Suleman said.

"Our major concern has always been the best interest of the babies," L.A.-based legal eagle said, "and of course, I happen to disagree with quite a bit of what Nadya said in terms of what has happened. I think the real reason that Nadya has not been able to continue with Angels in Waiting may be the fact that not one, but three reports had to be filed with Child Protective Service by Angels in Waiting," who are required to report any missteps they see to child services.

Allred has scheduled a press conference for tomorrow at 1 p.m. at her Wilshire Boulevard office to "reveal the true facts" behind Suleman's decision.

"The whole point of Angels in Waiting, besides providing such high-quality care…was not to put the burden on the taxpayer, but that's what Nadya and Jeff are doing," Allred said. [They want] to shut everybody up…that's wrong. I want to know what they are hiding and why."

On Octomom's side is attorney Jeff Czech, who maintains that they have nothing to hide, but that the initial arrangement with Angels in Waiting put Suleman in an untenable position.

"I don't think anyone really foresaw the extent of what would happen the first time around," he said, referring to the night of March 17, when the first of the octuplets, Isaiah and Noah, were released from the hospital.

According to Czech and Suleman, nurses from Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Bellflower, where the babies were born, will help train the nannies Suleman chooses to hire herself.

Meanwhile, a rep for the hospital told Us Weekly today that the staff shakeup at the Suleman home will not affect the timetable for the remaining four babies' release.

"That is between [Angels] and Nadya Suleman," Kaiser spokesmasn JIm Anderson said. "The AIW is a whole separate thing. Our decision to discharge the babies previously and now, never had anything to do with AIW."

Another hospital employee who has been to Suleman's house says that two pediatric nurses visit the home each day to help out the existing nannies.

24 Hours Every Sunday at Global Channel

Yay, I realized that I have abandoned this blog since last year. My Goodie!! I apologized for the negligence. Well to start the new year, I am so glad that Jack Bouer is back for 24 hours season 7. You can watch it at Global channel every Sunday at 8pm Eastern Time here in Toronto, Canada. I wasn't able to watch it last night because hubby didn't woke me up.

I am so happy that it the day and time is very appropriate on my schedule. I can now watch it evry Sunday. But even if I can watched the series every Sunday, I will still buy the DVD once it is out in the market. I have all the DVD's from Season 1 to Season 7 because I am not tired watching the series over and over again.

We were about to go to the theater today but unfortunately, the theater was full of people wanting to spend their Christmas inside the movie theater like me and my daughters. We seldom go to theater to watch movies. We usually just stay at home and rent DVDs. But ever since we upgraded our TV cable to satelite movie network, we never rent dvd movies anymore since there are too much to watch.

I can say we are fortunate that almost any kind of direct tv networks are available since we live in a city. But what about those who leave in rural areas? We watched "Marley and Me" last night starring Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson. The story is based on is a the New York Times bestselling autobiographical book by journalist John Grogan, published in 2005. A story of Grogan and his family's life during the thirteen years that they lived with their dog Marley. A Labrador dog with strong, powerful, endlessly hungry, eager to be active, and often destructive of their property (but completely without malice. My kids love the the movie. We were in tears at the end of the movie seeing our Golden Retriever will leave us at the time that our dog has to pass. Very harm warming and interesting movie to watch

I wasn't able to do anything last weekend because I was so busy watching the whole season 6 series of 24 Hrs TV series DVD by Keifer Sutherland. The season seven has already started if I am not mistaken, so I thought of buying the Season 6 dvd. Rihanna won the American Music Award for favorite female soul/R&B artist in Los Angeles Sunday night.

Singer-actor Jamie Foxx presented the recording artist with the first prize of the evening. Rihanna beat out Alicia Keys and Mary J. Blige for the honor.

"This is the first year, I guess, the fans got to vote, so thank you mainly to my fans who voted for me," Rihanna said upon accepting her statuette.

She won the AMA in the same category last year.

"Now I'm holding another AMA, which I'm very proud of," she said.

Keys won the award for favorite soul/R&B album for her CD "As I Am." Also nominated were Mariah Carey's "E=MC2" and Blige's "Growing Pains."

Comedian Jimmy Kimmel was the host of the award presentation, which took place at the Nokia Theatre in Hollywood.

The Twilight

We finally watched the Twilight last sunday. we can't wait for another day to watch this much awaited movie, so we went to the theater when they get home from school. Young people have been waiting to see this movie because of the stars of the movie, Robert Pattinson and Stephenie. You can hear young people screaming with some romantic scenes from the movie. But I really think that the movie itself is really good and interesting.

After watching this movie, there is a point where I want to believe that Vampires somehow really exist somewhere behind the myth. I believe that the sequel can be a success but I think they should put more special effects on the "New Moon". I can't wait to read the 3 books before it goes to the big screen.
